Tempered glass also provides a safety characteristic: when fully tempered glass breaks, it generally fractures into small granular pieces rather than large sharp shards.

Will tempered glass affect touch sensitivity?
The glass itself does not determine touch sensitivity. Touch performance depends on the complete touch stack, including the sensor, cover-glass thickness, bonding method, controller, and device design. VATTI can manufacture the panel to the thickness and dimensional requirements established for your touch system.
Can the glass be used with capacitive touch sensors?
