Our Control Panel Glass is a finished glass front panel developed for electronic equipment, household appliances, control interfaces, display systems and other products that require a durable and precisely processed glass surface.
We use tempered glass for Control Panel Glass because the front panel needs to combine a clean appearance with the strength and safety characteristics required for equipment use.
Our Control Panel Glass is supplied as tempered safety glass. Tempering introduces compressive stress into the glass surface, increasing its mechanical strength compared with annealed glass of the same thickness.
This makes tempered glass suitable for front panels that are regularly handled, touched, cleaned or exposed to everyday mechanical loading.
Glass provides a smooth, hard surface that is easy to clean and suitable for visible equipment interfaces. It also provides a consistent base for screen printing, allowing functional graphics and branding to be incorporated directly into the panel.
Instead of applying separate labels to the equipment, we can print symbols, lettering, borders, logos and other graphics directly onto the glass. This helps create a cleaner finished appearance while keeping the functional information in a fixed position.
We can supply the glass in different panel geometries and with various processing features. This allows the Control Panel Glass to be matched to the customer’s enclosure, display area, switches, indicators and mounting structure.
Our focus is not simply on supplying cut glass sheets. We process the glass according to the required finished-panel configuration, including printing, cutting, edge processing, holes and other specified features.
We produce Control Panel Glass according to the customer’s actual interface layout. Different areas of the glass can therefore serve different functions within the finished equipment.
Transparent areas can be retained for LCD displays, indicators, meters, camera windows or other visual components. The size and position can be defined according to the customer’s equipment drawing.
We can incorporate printed numbers, icons, symbols and operating markings around the required control positions. These graphics are positioned according to the approved artwork and panel layout.
An opaque printed border can be used around the perimeter or selected sections of the glass. Depending on the product structure, it can help conceal enclosure edges, mounting structures, adhesive areas or internal components.
Company logos, product identification and other branding graphics can be included within the screen-printed design. This allows the glass panel to form part of the finished product appearance.
Where the glass is installed above switches, displays, sensors or other components, openings and transparent areas can be positioned according to the component layout. We can manufacture these features from the supplied technical drawing.
The customer can therefore define the visible areas, printed areas and processed areas as part of one finished Control Panel Glass specification.
Screen printing is one of the main finishing options we provide for Control Panel Glass. It allows us to reproduce control symbols, text, numbers, borders, logos and multi-color graphics directly on the glass.
We offer two main screen-printing routes depending on the required production process.
For high-temperature screen printing, the glass is first cut and mechanically processed. Specialized high-temperature ink is then screen printed onto the glass before the panel is tempered.
During the tempering process, the ceramic ink is fired and becomes firmly bonded to the glass surface. This provides a durable printed finish for applications where the graphics need to withstand regular surface contact and cleaning.
For this production route, we can perform paint adhesion testing to evaluate the bonding of the printed layer according to the specified requirements.
Low-temperature screen printing is generally performed after the glass has been tempered. Low-temperature ink is applied to the tempered glass and then cured using the specified curing process.
This printing route is commonly used for electronic-product panels and applications where the graphics need to be applied after the glass tempering process.
Depending on the customer’s artwork, we can produce:
· Control symbols and icons
· Numbers and lettering
· Functional markings
· Black or other colored borders
· Product logos
· Indicator graphics
· Multi-color patterns
Customers can provide their own artwork or technical drawing so that the print position, graphic dimensions, colors and relationship with openings can be reviewed before production.
In addition to printing, we provide glass processing to produce the finished panel geometry required for installation.
We can process drilled holes for switches, indicators, fasteners, mounting points and other components. Hole dimensions and positions are produced according to the approved drawing.
Slots and shaped openings can be processed where the panel needs to accommodate displays, controls, connectors or other internal components.
We can provide the required edge finish according to the panel’s handling and assembly requirements, including arrissed, seamed and ground edges.
Control Panel Glass can be supplied in rectangular, square, round or irregular shapes. The finished outline is produced according to the customer’s panel drawing.
For panels containing multiple holes, cut-outs or complex outlines, we use the customer’s drawing as the production reference. This helps keep the finished dimensions and processing features consistent with the intended equipment structure.
All required glass processing should be confirmed before production so that the correct processing and tempering sequence can be arranged.
We supply the glass as a finished component, but the mounting method remains an important part of the customer’s equipment design. The following points should be considered when integrating our Control Panel Glass.
The finished glass dimensions, openings and edge configuration should correspond with the enclosure and supporting structure. We recommend checking the supplied drawing against the actual assembly before installation.
Tempered glass provides improved strength, but it should not be forced into an enclosure or subjected to unnecessary point loading. The mounting structure should support the panel appropriately.
Before installing the glass, confirm that all holes and openings correspond with the intended switches, displays, indicators or other components.
Hard or abrasive objects should not be dragged across the printed area. Our protective film can help protect the surface during handling and assembly and can be removed when the panel is ready for final use.
Dust, glass particles or other foreign material between the glass and its support can affect seating and create localized pressure. The contact area should be cleaned before assembly.
After installation, the panel should be checked for graphic alignment, display visibility, opening position, edge seating and surface condition before the equipment enters final production.
We manufacture Control Panel Glass according to the customer’s finished-panel requirements rather than offering only one fixed specification.
Parameter | Available Specification |
Glass Type | Tempered safety glass |
Thickness | According to project requirements |
Panel Size | According to customer drawing |
Shape | Rectangular, square, round or irregular |
Edge Processing | Arrissed, seamed, ground or specified finish |
Openings | Drilled holes, slots and cut-outs |
Screen Printing | High-temperature or low-temperature screen printing |
Printing Colors | According to approved artwork |
Printed Graphics | Symbols, text, borders, logos and patterns |
Surface Treatment | According to application requirements |
Dimensional Tolerance | According to agreed technical drawing |
Processing Sequence | Determined according to the glass, printing and tempering requirements |
The processing sequence depends on the selected printing method.
For high-temperature screen printing, cutting and required mechanical processing are completed before printing, followed by tempering so that the high-temperature ink is fired onto the glass during the process.
For low-temperature screen printing, the glass is tempered first, followed by application and curing of the low-temperature ink.
This production sequence is confirmed before manufacturing to ensure that the required printing and glass-processing specifications are compatible.
We use protective packaging designed to reduce the risk of surface scratches, edge damage and movement during transportation.
Our standard packaging can include:
Double-sided PE protective film can be applied to protect the glass surface during handling, packing and transportation.
Kraft paper can be used between glass panels to provide separation and reduce direct surface contact.
Polyethylene pearl cotton (EPE) provides cushioning around the finished panels and helps reduce movement and impact during transportation.
Finished Control Panel Glass can be packed in an export-standard wooden case for long-distance shipment and additional external protection.
We can arrange the packaging according to the selected delivery method:
· Samples or small orders: Express delivery
· Urgent large orders: Air freight
· Regular large orders: Sea freight or overland transportation
For larger production orders, the final packaging arrangement can be confirmed according to the glass dimensions, thickness, quantity and shipping method.
