Glass offers a practical combination of surface durability, visual clarity, easy cleaning and design flexibility, making it well suited to the front surface of control equipment. For panels that are frequently touched, viewed or cleaned, these characteristics are especially important.
Clear View with a Clean Appearance
The transparent surface keeps displays, indicators and other visible areas easy to see while maintaining a clean, uniform appearance. Where required, opaque printed areas can be added around viewing zones without affecting the transparent sections.
Easy-to-Clean Glass Surface
The smooth, non-porous surface is easy to wipe and suitable for equipment that requires regular surface cleaning. This is useful for control interfaces where fingerprints, dust or other surface contamination need to be removed during routine use.
Flexible Appearance and Panel Design
Glass can be produced in different sizes and shapes and combined with printed borders, graphics and processed openings. This gives equipment manufacturers greater flexibility when developing the appearance and layout of the front panel.

Display & Viewing Areas
Transparent areas can be retained for LCD displays, indicators, meters, camera windows or other visual components. The size and position can be defined according to the customer’s equipment drawing.
Control Areas
We can incorporate printed numbers, icons, symbols and operating markings around the required control positions. These graphics are positioned according to the approved artwork and panel layout.
Printed Border Areas
An opaque printed border can be used around the perimeter or selected sections of the glass. Depending on the product structure, it can help conceal enclosure edges, mounting structures, adhesive areas or internal components.
Screen printing is one of the main finishing options we provide for Control Panel Glass. It allows us to reproduce control symbols, text, numbers, borders, logos and multi-color graphics directly on the glass.
We offer two main screen-printing routes depending on the required production process.
High-Temperature Screen Printing
For high-temperature screen printing, the glass is first cut and mechanically processed. Specialized high-temperature ink is then screen printed onto the glass before the panel is tempered.
During the tempering process, the ceramic ink is fired and becomes firmly bonded to the glass surface. This provides a durable printed finish for applications where the graphics need to withstand regular surface contact and cleaning.
For this production route, we can perform paint adhesion testing to evaluate the bonding of the printed layer according to the specified requirements.
Low-Temperature Screen Printing
Low-temperature screen printing is generally performed after the glass has been tempered. Low-temperature ink is applied to the tempered glass and then cured using the specified curing process.
This printing route is commonly used for electronic-product panels and applications where the graphics need to be applied after the glass tempering process.

Slots and shaped openings can be processed where the panel needs to accommodate displays, controls, connectors or other internal components.
Edge Processing
We can provide the required edge finish according to the panel’s handling and assembly requirements, including arrissed, seamed and ground edges.
Different Panel Shapes
Control Panel Glass can be supplied in rectangular, square, round or irregular shapes. The finished outline is produced according to the customer’s panel drawing.
We supply the glass as a finished component, but the mounting method remains an important part of the customer’s equipment design. The following points should be considered when integrating our Control Panel Glass.
Match the Glass to the Mounting Structure
The finished glass dimensions, openings and edge configuration should correspond with the enclosure and supporting structure. We recommend checking the supplied drawing against the actual assembly before installation.
Avoid Concentrated Mechanical Pressure
Tempered glass provides improved strength, but it should not be forced into an enclosure or subjected to unnecessary point loading. The mounting structure should support the panel appropriately.
Protect the Printed Surface During Assembly
Hard or abrasive objects should not be dragged across the printed area. Our protective film can help protect the surface during handling and assembly and can be removed when the panel is ready for final use.
Keep Mounting Surfaces Clean
Dust, glass particles or other foreign material between the glass and its support can affect seating and create localized pressure. The contact area should be cleaned before assembly.

We use protective packaging designed to reduce the risk of surface scratches, edge damage and movement during transportation.
PE Protective Film
Double-sided PE protective film can be applied to protect the glass surface during handling, packing and transportation.
Kraft Paper
Kraft paper can be used between glass panels to provide separation and reduce direct surface contact.
EPE Cushioning
Polyethylene pearl cotton (EPE) provides cushioning around the finished panels and helps reduce movement and impact during transportation.
Export Wooden Case
Finished Control Panel Glass can be packed in an export-standard wooden case for long-distance shipment and additional external protection.
Shipping Options

Is the Control Panel Glass tempered?
Yes. Our Control Panel Glass is supplied as tempered safety glass for this product configuration. Required cutting, drilling, shaping and other pre-temper processing are completed according to the selected production route.
Can you print our logo and control symbols on the glass?
Yes. We can screen print logos, symbols, text, numbers, borders and other approved graphics. Multi-color printing can also be produced according to the artwork requirements.
Can you produce a black border around the glass?
Yes. A black or other specified color border can be screen printed onto the glass. The printed border can also be designed to conceal selected areas of the equipment behind the panel.
